Canva Magic Studio Adds AI "Social Calendar" — 30 Days of Posts Generated From Your Menu or Service List
Canva's new Social Calendar feature generates a full month of ready-to-publish social posts from your business info, menu, or service list. Designed specifically for small businesses with no marketing team.
Canva launched the "Social Calendar" feature inside Magic Studio for Canva for Teams and Canva Pro accounts. You input your business name, category, top 5 services or menu items, and brand colours — the AI generates 30 days of social post concepts, complete with captions, hashtags, and designed graphics using your brand palette.
The output includes a mix of formats: promotional posts (e.g. "Book your summer blowout now"), educational content ("Did you know? Pets need grooming every 6–8 weeks"), and engagement-driven posts ("Which treatment would you try first?"). Each post is sized for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok simultaneously.
The key limitation: Canva's AI writes generic captions that need light personalisation before posting. Business owners using the beta report spending 5–10 minutes per day reviewing and tweaking, versus 45–60 minutes creating from scratch. The time saving is real, but the content requires a human pass to feel authentic.
