What Do the GoHighLevel Plans Include?

The pricing page lists these plans. Prices are in US dollars as shown.

The page names the third plan Founder, while its FAQ calls it Pro. Core features on all plans include CRM, funnel and website builders, workflow automation, booking calendars and payments.

What Is SaaS Mode?

SaaS mode lets an agency sell GoHighLevel under its own subscription. The pricing FAQ says it creates client accounts automatically and rebills usage. A HighLevel help article says rebilling with markup needs the $497 Founder plan.
In that article, usage is charged first to the agency's wallet. The agency then bills the client its own price and keeps the difference. The help page lists one rate as an example: $0.675 per 1,000 emails. It gives no separate SaaS mode fee. If you run one shop, you do not need this.

What Extra Costs Come With It?

The pricing page says Conversation AI, Voice AI, Reviews AI, Email and SMS marketing, and calling are billed by usage. Phone numbers, SMS, emails sent and premium AI usage are listed as usage-based costs.
Usage fees may apply during the free trial. Billing starts automatically at the end of the 14 days unless you cancel. The page links to separate pricing guides for per-unit rates, which we could not confirm, so treat your total monthly cost as unknown until you test.

Worked Example: Annual or Monthly for a Salon?

Inputs are assumptions. Say a single-location salon picks Starter and stays a year, using only the listed plan fee. Monthly billing is 12 x $97 = $1,164. Annual billing is $970. The difference is $194, before any usage charges.
The same arithmetic on listed prices: Unlimited saves $594 a year ($3,564 vs $2,970) and Founder saves $994 ($5,964 vs $4,970). Usage costs for texts, calls and AI are not included because no rates were confirmed.

What Does a Local Owner Actually Need?

One shop needs one account, so the 3 sub-accounts on Starter are already more than enough. Unlimited sub-accounts, rebilling and SaaS mode are for agencies reselling to clients.
Check the tool against your real tasks: texting leads, booking, reminders and review requests. Our marketing automation tools comparison and coffee shop CRM guide show lighter options. For texting rules, see SMS marketing best practices.
