What Are the Usage Limits?

Google's plans documentation gives no fixed message counts. It says all plans include Gemini models, unlimited Tab completions and access to all product features, including scheduled tasks and the CLI. Ultra gets the highest quota, refreshed every five hours, plus the highest weekly limits and access to third-party models. Pro gets a high quota, also refreshed every five hours until the weekly limit is reached. Other plans get a meaningful quota refreshed weekly.
Limits "depend on available capacity" and track the agent's workload, so simple tasks use less quota than complex ones. Limits may change to manage capacity.
Pro and Ultra users can use AI credits for overage once the baseline quota is gone. The setting offers Never or Always. Per Google's blog, credits "are now used solely as an overage mechanism." Credits are charged at standard Gemini Enterprise consumption pricing.

What Is Antigravity and How Does It Work?

Google describes it as "our agentic development platform, allowing anyone to build in the agent-first era." The site says it is available on macOS, Windows, Linux and Googlebook, with a desktop download. The Antigravity App is a hub for running several agents at once, grouping conversations into projects and scheduling recurring messages. There is also an agentic IDE, and the site mentions browser-in-the-loop agents for repetitive UX tasks.
Setup is a download and a sign-in with a Google account. The pages opened do not list system requirements, so check the download page for your computer.

Do You Need to Pay for Antigravity?

The pricing page says it is "Available at no charge" for individual developers, and the Individuals plan is $0. A paid Google AI plan raises limits and adds a credit pool. The Google plan page also mentions a free year of Google AI Pro for students with verification. It states no trial length for other plans.

What Can a Small Business Use It For?

These are possibilities, not results:
  • Editing a landing page: hours, prices, offers.
  • Building a simple script from an exported booking or sales sheet.
  • Tidying a spreadsheet of customers.
  • Having an agent check a website in a browser for broken forms or missing text.
Agents can be scheduled, which Google lists as a feature. Anything customer-facing still needs a human check. The automation guide for local businesses puts these tasks in context, and the MCP explainer shows how agents connect to other tools.

What Would It Cost? A Worked Example

This is an assumption using only published prices. A yoga studio owner tests Antigravity for three months.
OptionAssumptionCost
Individuals planStays within basic weekly limits$0
Google AI Pro3 months at $19.99$59.97
Pro then one month of Ultra at $100If limits are hit$59.97 plus $100 = $159.97
Google AI plans may also include other Google features that are not priced here, so the full plan value is outside this example.

What Are the Risks and Limits?

  • Data use. Google's Antigravity terms say Google records "Interactions" (user data, interaction data, metadata, feedback) and uses them to "evaluate, develop, and improve Google and Alphabet research, products, services and machine learning technologies."
  • Human review. Google employees and contractors may access and review Interactions. The terms advise against submitting "confidential information or any data you wouldn't want a reviewer to see."
  • Telemetry toggle. The terms say "Even when your Telemetry is toggled off, Google still uses your data to provide the service."
  • Third-party models. If you pick one as the main agent model, that model's terms apply.
  • Work and Google accounts. Access through Gemini Enterprise or Workspace falls under the administrator's terms.
  • Limits. Quotas depend on capacity and may change. Bring-your-own-key is not currently supported.
  • Review. Agent output needs checking before publication.
