Jobber vs ServiceTitan: Which Fits a Small Crew?

October 24, 2026·Nataliia· 7 min read All posts
Jobber publishes its prices and ServiceTitan does not. On 24 October 2026 Jobber's page listed a one-user Core plan at $49 a month on monthly billing, while ServiceTitan's pricing page showed three plans (Starter, Essentials, The Works) with a "Request Pricing" button and no dollar amounts. For a small crew that wants to know the monthly bill before a sales call, that difference alone often decides it.
This guide compares the two for a small local service business: a cleaner, landscaper, plumber, HVAC or similar team of one to fifteen people. Every figure was read from the vendor's own page on 24 October 2026 and can change. Where a number could not be verified, the text says so.

What Does Jobber Cost for a Small Business?

Jobber has four plans: Core, Connect, Grow and Plus. Core is limited to one user. Connect and Grow come in 1, 5, 10 or 15 user sizes, and Plus starts at 5 users. Additional users cost $29 a month each. Teams of 16 or more, or multi-location businesses, are sent to Contact Sales.
The price depends on how you pay. On monthly billing with no commitment, a one-user Connect plan is $139 and a one-user Grow plan is $199. Annual billing is cheaper in year one and then renews higher, so read the renewal column, not only the headline number.
Jobber also states a 14-day free trial of Grow features with no credit card required.

What Does ServiceTitan Cost?

The page does not say. ServiceTitan lists per-technician pricing but shows no dollar amounts, contract terms or onboarding fees on the pricing page; each plan has a "Request Pricing" button. Anything quoted elsewhere (forums, review sites) is secondary and unverified, so this article does not repeat it.
What the page does show is the plan structure. Starter covers dispatching, scheduling, call booking, invoicing and a pricebook. Essentials adds mobile estimates and payroll management. The Works adds configurable payroll, advanced reporting, commission tracking and customizable memberships.
Ask for three things in writing before you commit: the per-technician price, the contract length, and any one-time onboarding or implementation fee.

What Contract Terms Does Jobber Use?

Jobber offers three ways to pay, and the cancellation rules differ. Monthly with no commitment: you can cancel any time and the plan ends at the close of the billing period. Monthly with a one-year commitment: a 12-month minimum, billed monthly, and cancelling early does not stop billing until the term ends. Annual prepaid: the full year is billed upfront, access continues through the term, and the first payment is non-refundable.
All Jobber plans auto-renew unless you turn that off. Put the renewal date in your calendar the day you sign.

Which One Should a Small Crew Pick?

Use these rules, which are decision aids rather than vendor claims.
  • Pick Jobber if you want to see the price today, start a trial this afternoon and leave without a sales process. It fits owner-operators and crews up to about fifteen people.
  • Pick ServiceTitan if you already know you will outgrow small-team tools, are willing to sit through a sales conversation, and want its payroll, commission and membership features at a larger scale.
  • Wait on both if you have fewer than three recurring jobs a week. A shared calendar and a free invoicing tool may be enough for now.
If neither shortlist feels right, our Jobber vs Housecall Pro comparison covers the other common choice for small crews.

The Math: What Could a Five-Person Crew Pay for Jobber?

The inputs below are assumptions for illustration. Assume a crew of five people on Jobber's 5-user Grow plan, using the prices read on 24 October 2026.
BillingMonthly cost12-month cost
Monthly, no commitment$299$3,588
Annual, first year$161$1,932
Annual, renewal year$229$2,748
The first-year annual price saves $1,656 against the no-commitment monthly price, but the saving drops to $840 in the renewal year. Prepaying also means a non-refundable payment, so it only makes sense after the trial has proved the software fits. No equivalent calculation is possible for ServiceTitan, because it publishes no price.

How Does Software Choice Connect to Getting Jobs?

Scheduling software does not bring customers in. It keeps the ones you win from slipping through. Pair it with a profile that gets found: our Google Business Profile checklist is the cheapest place to start.
Missed calls cost more than software fees, so an AI receptionist setup guide is a useful second read. For tracking leads and repeat customers, see our CRM guide for small businesses.

FAQ

Is ServiceTitan too big for a small business?

Its pricing page gives no minimum size, so that cannot be confirmed from the page. Because pricing is quote-only and per technician, request the number before deciding.

Does Jobber require a long contract?

No. Jobber offers a monthly plan with no commitment. Its monthly one-year commitment and annual prepaid options do lock you in, so choose them only after the trial.

Can I try Jobber for free?

Yes. Jobber states a 14-day trial of Grow features with no credit card required.

Do Jobber prices include every user?

Each plan includes a set number of users, and additional users cost $29 a month each, per the pricing page on 24 October 2026.

Why are the ServiceTitan prices missing here?

The vendor's pricing page shows only a "Request Pricing" button. Unverified figures from third parties are not used.
